To mark the beginning of another growing season, and to remember the fruits of last year's labor, join us for a winemaker's barrel tasting weekend. Don't miss the unique opportunity to taste wine directly from the cask!

At 12:00 and 2:00 pm both days, winemakers Kevin and Kyle Peterson will lead a springtime tour of the vineyard.  Stroll the vineyard and watch the new grape clusters emerge as we anticipate the 2015 harvest!

Delight all of your senses as you cruise the beautiful St. Croix River on the elegant Taylors Falls Princess paddle boat. You’ll enjoy fine food, great Winehaven wines, and some of the best chocolates while experiencing the breathtaking rock formations that were left behind as the glaciers retreated thousands of years ago.

This festive three-hour cruise includes a narrated scenic tour of the river, wine sampling, live music, cash bar and reserved seating with a buffet style meal including your choice of Roast Prime Rib of Beef AuJus, carved to order, with baked potato accompanied by butter and sour cream, or Boneless Chicken Breast on a bed of wild rice served with a Chardonnay & Mushroom Sauce. Both entrées are served with assorted breads, Caesar salad, vegetable and dessert.

The cost is $53.06 per person. Reservations and prepayment are required. This cruise embarks from Taylors Falls Scenic Boat Tours, Taylors Falls, Minnesota at 7:00 pm and returns at 10:00 pm. Boarding will begin 15 minutes prior to departure. Call 651-465-6315 for reservations.

The secret's out! WineHaven's rhubarb makes fantastic wine! Be the first to sample the new batches of Rhubarb and Strawberry-Rhubarb Wine.  We'll have hourly tours and lunch at the vineyard from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday and 11:00 am to 6:00 pm on Sunday.  There is no fee for admission and reservations are not required. Bring your friends!

Cheese and Chocolate Weekend

Are you attending or hosting a get together this holiday season? Let us help you out! This weekend, come and sample your way through some great cheese and chocolate wine pairings. Perfect for an easy, festive cocktail party or as an elegant way to end a meal. Figure out which cheeses pair best with which wines and how to make a simple bite of chocolate shine as a dessert course with wine.

Guests at this special event can experience Winehaven's unique specialty wines paired with local cheeses and chocolates. While at the winery, don't forget to enjoy the views of the vineyards and lakes along with a glass of wine and meat, cheese and cracker tray.
